Erik Skyler has been an attorney since 1990 and has tried hundreds of cases, including nearly 50 jury trials. Erik graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois School of Law and went directly to law school after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Ohio School of Business.
Erik is married to Charlotte, and together they have three children and two Golden Retrievers. The family is deeply supportive of their community and frequently volunteers at the local animal shelter.

After beginning her career in computer programming, Charlotte decided to pursue a lifelong dream and enrolled in law school. Upon graduation from the University of Illinois School of Law, she completed a year of service as an AmeriCorps attorney, providing civil legal representation to veterans and their families. That led to a legal fellowship sponsored by Equal Justice Works with an emphasis on removing barriers to employment.
Charlotte joined her huband Erik in 2016 at Skyler Law and has found that her work helping families also gives her an avenue to serve her community in new ways, which is something Charlotte is passionate about.
